Jinx Golifardo
First gig was during Palawan State University’s 1997 Intramurals at the Mendoza Park Amphitheater where we played songs from Metallica. Won local battle of the bands competitions in 2002-2003 with my band Diablong Kirit-kirit. Joined the local variety band scene in 2004-2005 as male vocalist with the Addictnote band which played regularly in Hangarzone, a local bar/club along Rizal Avenue. Moved to Manila in mid 2005 mainly for work but also ended up playing lead guitar for indie bands Pisenlav, Duelmo, Kursonada, Nesta, and Alex in Wonderland. Did a few recordings with these bands as well and released EPs some of which are still available online. Currently playing in local bars, restos and hotels as a solo acoustic performer. I am also currently playing for local band Kiritkirit. Only one original song which I wrote has been recorded and relased online with my band Kiritkirit so far. The song is entitled “Alaala”.
